Windy and Warm

Today in the cutting garden there was a general background ‘roaring’ sound as I worked. This was provided by the strong wind howling through the trees that surround the wall of the garden. There are so many gorgeous mature trees that I take for granted on a daily basis.  Then suddenly the wind strengthens and the sound through the leaves and branches provide a reminder of the trees majestic presence adding a bit of drama to a usually peaceful and serene garden.  Invigorating!

Also, there has still not been a hard frost and the forecast predicts a further reprieve for the remainder of the week.  That means more of these and with so many buds on I couldn’t be happier!
