We Still Have Snow and Lace











But yesterday we did actually have a bit of this ...





Still no chance of getting near the soil though, so I'm just completing my orders and organisation of these ...

    1. Thanks Emma, it was really easy. This one was just a tester to try out the technique. All you need is a piece of lovely lace or even an old fashioned crocheted placemat (check out charity shops), a bowl/mould you want to use to make the shape and some 'fabric stiffener', available on the internet or in good craft stores. Cover your bowl/mould with clingfilm for easy release. Cut out the shape of fabric you want, place in a bowl, cover with the fabric stiffener, squeeze out any excess then place the fabric over the bowl/mould you have previously covered with clingfilm and smooth the fabric down to make the shape. Let it dry and harden. Et voila a beautiful fragile lace bowl! Give it a go.
