Cambridge and Crocuses or is that Crocusi!

I spent my day off yesterday in and around Cambridge and the light was exquisite, perfect for peak crocus viewing along the backs of Trinity College, always a privilege to see at this time of year.

Carpet.

Shadows.

Tapestry.

The pure white ones stole my heart this year.

Then off to Granchester Meadows.

I wish I'd brought my canoe!

Amazing to see willows already showing signs of fresh growth after last year when they still had leaf on them in December - only a couple of months 'rest' for them.
I have a slight mole obsession at the moment I see them everywhere!

Spring?.........

Snowdrops & Serenity at Walsingham Abbey

The gorgeous understated Walsingham Abbey in Norfolk is a beautiful tranquil spot for snowdrop viewing and with a weekend of sun and blue sky it gave a perfect snowdrop backdrop.

A lovely pilgrimage to the delightful Walsingham!
