Agent Provocateur

The beautiful Apricot Foxgloves are now in bloom and they are heavenly.  So soft to the touch and so pink they remind me of French lingerie.  The picture shows them in the garden, competing with Sweet Williams for space.

Here they are crammed greedily into a vase making them look decadently top heavy.  The two teacups either side were a lovely find in a charity shop.  I love the way the flowers are painted on the inside of the cup so there is a lovely surprise as you drink your cuppa.

Placing foxgloves on an old piece of wood makes an attractive centrepiece for the dining table for those occasions when only pink will do.

There's nothing nicer than seeing foxgloves in the wild and one of my favourite places to see them is walking on the Fells in the Lake District.  They can be seen clearly in amongst the bracken on the fellside.  I like doing arrangements that mimic the natural setting of flowers in the wild.  Placing a few stems of fern in the vase with foxgloves can very quickly evoke beautiful memories of fell walks in Buttermere.

  4. One of my passions is Vintage china, particularly pretty cups and saucers, and teapots. I sell them as complete arrangement with beautiful flowers. Your two are gorgeous!
