I have a collection of 1950s gardening and flower arranging magazines and love looking at the old adverts as well as the features, they are so of their time and provide excellent tittering material on a chilly Sunday afternoon. I thought I would share a few gardening themed adverts before the 'caption' competition pictures (see facebook page for details).
I love the sound of this piece of machinery. On those days when the flower season is in full swing and my back starts to twinge, the idea of an 'autogardener' sounds dreamy.
